To People who think Evil is not Real.

(Swear warning because I'm pissed off enough to do so.)
Imagine if you will a mother pushing a stroller with her thirteen month baby down the street. Then two hoodlums approach her and say, "Give us your money or I'll shoot you and your baby." The mother says she has no money. Then one of the hoodlums grabs the mother's purse and she gets shoot at. The first shot grazes her forehead and one of the hoodlums shoots her in the leg which effectively puts her on the ground. . .then the unthinkable happens. The other half of the hoodlum's threat comes true and they walk up to the stroller and shoot the baby in the FACE!

Now this may seem like a plot from one of the gritter TV crime drama shows like CSI or Criminal Minds. . .and those who read the above and don't know the truth by now are either hoping its something from a TV show or that I just made it up for the shock value to make some point further into this writing(something I'd never do by the way) . . .unfortunately its all real and it happened just a day or two ago.

Now what I'm about to write next isn't about gun control(although someone in the US will bring it up) or any of the usual political crap. No, this about the Existence of Evil. See, there are people in the US and in the world who believe there is no such thing as Evil. Here is my question to such people, "Then what the FUCK do you call someone putting a gun to a baby's face and pulling the damned trigger?! How can what happened to that baby be anything else but evil in its truest form?"

Contrary to the word 'Graey' in my name, I do not see the world in Shades of Gray or Grey. I am very much a 'Black and White' type of person and my glasses sure as hell aren't 'Rose Tinted'. What is Good is Good and what is Evil is Evil. In my worldview, its that simple. What happened to that baby is evil pure and simple.

Yet there are people who will try and rationalize such evil. Hitler causing the Holocaust or some punk shooting a mother in the leg and helplessly watching her barely one year old baby being shot in the face, there will be some people out there who will try to justify the evil. Personally I've heard it all from the 'Twinkie Defense' to 'Its In The Genes.'

So here is a simple challenge to such people who think like this - try to explain why shooting a thirteen month baby in the face while the mother watches while being unable to do anything about it is not evil. Try to use one of your myriad of excuses to explain away why some punk or anyone else would do such a thing. I really want to know what you think. I want to know what goes through your head as you make your post in the Comment Section as you type whatever excuse for shooting a baby in the face and not call it outright evil.
